How long have you been teaching and practicing yoga?
26 years in total.
What brought you to yoga?
Curiosity initially, as there was a class be~ing offered in a local church hall and I felt (soul) called to attend. At the opening breath, I connected to some deep remembrance and have devotionally explored this abundant, ancient and Divine path since, which is a gift that truly keeps on giving.
What is one thing you love to share with students?
‘Relax . This simple sentiment, is so courageously and compassionately complex with soul richness , and invokes trust and allowance to deepening self discovery through any/all sessions.
What style do you love to teach and why?
FREE~style which welcomes the instrumentation of LOVE to flow through and adapt and adjust synchronistically and authentically to the group energy that has gathered, as well as honouring the scheduled class style. Staying flexible in sharing ALL styles keeps me on my yogi-toes (always growing and exploring) and keeps the offerings fresh and ‘present’. My sessions are intuitively infused with foundation, ritual, wisdom ~ accompanied by elemental and cosmic forces at Play.
What is your favourite pose?
Viparati Karani ~ Legs up the Wall. Yogi’s often refer to this as the ‘cure~all’ pose. I hold deepest respect and reverence for this ONE STOP SHOP Asana. Aligning, grounding, uplifting as well as soul soothing, resetting and bridging earth/ sky, yin/yang energy home into the Heart. Ahhhhhh, LOVE lives here.
A little bit about yourself:
YOGA for me is a very much a way of Life, with this day to day devotion first and foremost flowing into self ritual, care and connection and is shared and celebrated with my 3 beautiful teenage daughters …who humbly happen to be my greatest teachers :). I am a passionate painter, dancer, nature lover and dedicate my inner and outer service to the awakening and ascension of our beautiful Planet. I look forward to meeting and greeting you for a soul stretch in this beautiful Bayside Sanctuary soon.
