How long have you been teaching and practicing yoga?
I have been practicing yoga for about 20 years and teaching for almost 8. My journey with yoga has been a beautiful evolution of personal exploration through many different types of yoga practices, in many different countries. Now I get to share those transformational practices and I love it.
What brought you to yoga?
I first discovered yoga in my twenties through an invitation from a fellow rock climber who thought it might help us reach higher holds on the wall. I was keeping so busy in my twenties as I had no ability to sit quietly with myself… What began as a physical practice quickly revealed itself as so much more. I soon realized that I couldn’t miss a class without feeling out of balance – mentally and energetically!
In many ways, yoga found me at a time when I felt out of alignment with my true self. Its holistic practices became a lifeline, supporting me through deep challenges and grief. Yoga became an anchor, guiding me back to my center and opening the door to a life filled with much more presence, purpose, and joy.
Seven plus years ago, I decided to deepen my journey by completing my teacher training. Today, I feel deeply grateful and honored to share these transformative practices that have brought so much healing and support to my life.
What is one thing you love to share with students?
I love to share the message that yoga is not about perfection—it’s about connection. Each practice is an opportunity to meet yourself where you are, with compassion and curiosity. Through mindful breath and movement, I encourage my students to rediscover their inner power and embrace their unique journey.
What style do you love to teach and why?
Prana Vinyasa Yoga is my heart and soul. This soulful and fluid style integrates breath, movement, energy, and intention, creating a meditative and empowering flow. I love how it celebrates our connection to nature, energy, and the cycles of life, making each practice feel like a sacred ritual.
What is your favourite pose?
It’s hard to choose just one, but I have a special connection to Anahatasana(Melting heart pose). This deeply heart-opening pose embodies surrender and trust, allowing the chest to melt toward the earth while the heart expands with love and compassion. It’s a beautiful reminder to stay open and vulnerable, even in challenging moments.
A little bit about yourself:
I am an empowerment coach, yoga teacher, and energy healer dedicated to helping women reconnect with their inner strength, clarity, and joy. As a mother of two boys and a former engineer, I bring a blend of grounded practicality and soulful intuition to everything I do.
Through my offerings—including yoga, retreats, energy healing and coaching—I create spaces where transformation, healing, and self-discovery can unfold naturally. My mantra is simple: “We do all this to love life!”
